Have you ever wanted to follow your life’s dream?

Mike Kearby did.

Come meet Kearby, a Mineral Wells native, at Boyce Ditto Public Library at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11. The library is located at 2300 S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. St.

As a school teacher and a businessman, Kearby always wanted to become a writer. In 2005 he looked up and said, “Where did all the time go?” He sat down with his wife and told her, “I am going to sell my business and do the thing that I have wanted to do all my life – write.”
