There will be a Texas primary election and a second filing period, according to Palo Pinto County Republican Chair Barbara Upham, but “when?” remains the question.

The primary is scheduled for April 3, but Upham said the three-judge U.S. District Court panel in San Antonio vacated the filing closing date and drawing for a position on the Texas primary ballot, both set for Feb. 1. She said there will be another filing period, but is not sure when.
