SLIDESHOW: 'Horns hook Colbert
A Ram became a Longhorn shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning when Mineral Wells Rams senior athlete Adrian Colbert signed a football letter of intent to play next fall at the University of Texas. Colbert, the defending Class 3A state 400-meter dash champion who earned two spots on the 2011 All-District 7-3A football team, will also run track at Texas. The defensive back/tight end/return specialist and National Honor Society student, chose Texas over TCU, Baylor and Texas A&M.
