Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Drive officially begins Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with bell ringers calling in donations at three locations this holiday season.
Each Friday and Saturday through Dec. 22, bell-ringing Salvation Army volunteers will have red kettles at Walmart and Metro Food Store in Mineral Wells. In addition, the red kettle will be at Tractor Supply Company every Saturday beginning Dec. 1.
All funds raised in the local Salvation Army’s Red Kettle drive stay in Palo Pinto County. Depending on funding, the Salvation Army can offer residents assistance with a variety of needs throughout the year.
Volunteers are needed to help ring in donations. If interested contact Doug Grabham at (940) 452-8611 or Tammy Lovell at (940) 682-5044.
