Officials confirmed a suspect was arrested over the weekend in connection to a beer theft that turned violent.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. Friday at a convenience store south of Mineral Wells.
What would have been a theft charge was upgraded when the suspect reportedly ran over a clerk trying to prevent him from escaping with the merchandise.
According to county records, David Wayne Tucker, 48, of Mineral Wells, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and causing an accident involving serious bodily injury or death.
His bond was set at $25,000 for each charge.
According to reports, Tucker was arrested Saturday and was released on $50,000 bond Sunday.
