Chamber hosting second fossil find event Saturday

National Earth Science week is Oct. 14-20, and the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the Second Annual Crazy Fossil Dig Event in celebration of the national event.

The Crazy Dig is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mineral Wells Fossil Park, located at 2375 Indian Creek Road, about 6 miles west of Mineral Wells off U.S. Highway 180 West.

With free admission, this is hardly an opportunity to pass up. Especially since at this fossil park it is always finders, keepers.

During the Crazy Dig there will be tons of fun for visitors. The first 25 attendees will receive a Mineral Wells Fossil Park apron, designed especially for their next paleontological adventure.
