According to Mineral Wells police reports, a local man and two juveniles were arrested after allegedly committing a series of vehicle burglaries beginning early Friday morning.
Police reportedly identified the suspects based on a description by an alleged victim of one individual involved and the trio’s vehicle.
The complainant reportedly saw an individual attempting to enter a vehicle in the 300 block of N.E. 27th Avenue.
An officer initiated a traffic stop of the suspects’ vehicle and recovered various items reported stolen from other vehicles, reports indicate.
In addition to the charge of burglary of a vehicle, Edmundo Zapata Jr., 18, of Mineral Wells, was charged with possession of a dangerous drug, minor in possession of alcohol and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Information about the two additional suspects was not released due to their age.
