Restrictions on displays of flags contained in a recently amended Woodland Park Cemetery ordinance went national on Sunday when Fox News aired the story.
Tweets and Facebook posts followed from the station's viewers voicing their opinions on the matter – many of them unflattering toward Mineral Wells and those responsible for the ordinance.
City hall phones were busy Monday with callers voicing their displeasure and city council members have received numerous emails on the matter as well.
As a result, a new public meeting with members of city council and the cemetery board has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers at the City Hall Annex, 115. S.W. 1st St.
