Parade to have ‘super’ start

New Mineral Wells ISD Superintendent Gail Haterius will be grand marshal for this year’s MWHS homecoming parade.

The parade is Thursday beginning at 6:15 p.m. in downtown Mineral Wells. The parade will begin at its traditional starting point on North Oak Avenue and move south through downtown before turning west onto West Hubbard Street for the march to Miller Stadium, where the homecoming bonfire – reportedly the last at Miller Stadium – will take place.

The 2-2 Rams take on the Burkburnett Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The 2012 homecoming queen and princesses will be presented at halftime. Parade float winners will be also announced at halftime.
