PALO PINTO COUNTY – In a tight Republican runoff election, unofficial results show Precinct 1 commissioner candidate Curtis D. Henderson inched ahead with 316 votes to opponent Bob Manskey’s 307 votes. This margin sets up the likelihood of a recount.
A total of 623 Palo Pinto County voters cast ballots in the Precinct 1 commissioner runoff. There are no Democratic Party candidates for this place or for any county races on the November ballot.
Pending a possible recount, Henderson stands to be the next Precinct 1 commissioner, replacing Beth Ray, who will step down at the end of December.
