Mineral Wells police are inviting the public to an event next week geared toward spotlighting the community’s anticrime initiatives.
This year’s National Night Out will be held at the city pool in West City Park Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Though swimming will be a major draw for the event, officials caution the public pool capacity is 340.
The free event will feature representatives from local law enforcement and other agencies providing information designed to heighten crime prevention and encourage residents to participate in public safety programs.
