Two separate single-vehicle crashes resulted in damage to utility or telephone lines over the past weekend.
The first occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of S.E. 25th Avenue.
According to police reports, the incident involved a 2011 Mack trash truck owned by IESI Corp. and driven by Billy Joe Sanders Jr., 38, of Mineral Wells.
Sanders reportedly turned into a private parking lot when a clamp protruding from the right fork assembly caught an overhead phone cable.
