It happened so fast, Lindsey Hughes said. One second she was listening to music through her headphones, the next she was escaping the pickup truck she was in after it rolled several times on State Highway 171 south of Weatherford.
Hughes, 21, of Azle, recounted the moments leading up to and after the late Tuesday morning single-vehicle wreck that killed Leonard Doyle Foreman, 49, of Mineral Wells, and critically injured two other passengers.
Hughes, riding in the front seat of the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck, sustained relatively minor injuries. The other two passengers were in the vehicle’s back seat and were ejected from the vehicle, she explained. All of the occupants are employees of L&L Powerwashing, which Foreman owned, Hughes said.
