GORDON – The driver of a vehicle involved in a rollover crash Thursday was ejected and injured, resulting in his air transport to a Fort Worth Hospital.
According to Department of Public Safety Trooper Gary Rozzell, Brandon Christopher Reed, 27, of Mineral Wells, was driving his 2002 Toyota pickup truck northbound along Blue Flat Road in Palo Pinto County when he lost control of the vehicle.
Reports indicate the crash happened 1.2 miles south of Interstate 20 at about 3:45 p.m.
Reed was exiting a curve in the road, Rozzell said, when the vehicle slid sideways and overturned, ejecting Reed and coming to rest on top of him in a southbound bar ditch. He was airlifted from the scene and taken to John Peter Smith Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
According to reports, two other passengers, Anthony Lavaile Tate, 29, and Havier Reynaldo McKay, 18, were uninjured in the crash.
A fourth passenger, Jeremy Wasley Trollinger, 25, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Palo Pinto General Hospital by Gordon EMS.
