Millsap candlelight vigil set for 7 p.m. tonight

To honor the victims and families of those affected by Friday's tragic event in Newtown, Conn., the community of Millsap will host a candlelight vigil tonight, beginning at 7 p.m., outside at Millsap City Hall.

Millsap Volunteer Fire Department Chaplain Kevin Moore will lead the prayer and everyone is welcome. Organizers state that this is a chance for area citizens to come together and stand strong as a community and show support and respect for the lost lives.

There will be candles available, but supplies are limited and individuals may want to bring their own. For more information, contact Michele Brian (940) 452-8844 or Erika Gonzalez (940) 452-5931.
