One injured in two-vehicle crash at busy intersection

By CHRIS AGEE | cagee@mineralwellsindex.com

A passenger in one of the two cars involved in a Tuesday afternoon crash was taken by ambulance to Palo Pinto General Hospital to be treated for possible injuries.

The crash happened around 12:07 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 180 East and Garrett Morris Parkway.

Crash reports indicate Cynthia Larey, 43, of Mineral Wells, was driving a 1998 Ford sedan east along U.S. 180 and stopped at the intersection as an ambulance approached.

Larey remained stopped despite a green traffic light to give the emergency vehicle the right-of-way, the report stated.
