Mineral Wells Police Chief Dean Sullivan used a series of community forums held in April to compile a report based on the resulting feedback.
Attendees from each city ward shared their opinion of the MWPD primarily by completing surveys intended to address issues such as agency performance, employee competence, officer attitudes and suggested improvements.
Delivering the results to city council Tuesday night, Sullivan said 110 of the 147 attendees took time to complete the survey, results from which were reviewed by each member of the department.
