PALO PINTO COUNTY – Unofficial early voting numbers are in for primary runoff elections and estimates show that 556 Palo Pinto County citizens cast ballots last week.
According to County Elections Administrator Judith Evans, her office received 116 applications for mail-in ballot and received 88 by Friday afternoon; however, she said she could have more today. She also received five federal postcard applications for citizens in military service.
Preliminary figures indicate that just 14 of early voters cast ballots in the Democratic Party runoff – 13 walk-in voters and one ballot mailed in.
