A 10-week summer movie camp at the Brazos Cinema 3 screens a free movie each week for kids of all ages.
According to relief manager Stacy Melton, the theater tries to provide this program each year, explaining staff is excited to offer a unique option for summer vacation.
“It just gives kids something to do during the summer while they’re out of trouble,” she said, adding the camp is “something the parents can do for them that’s free of cost.”
Doors open at 9 a.m. each Wednesday and movies begin at 9:30 a.m., she said, noting there is no age limit and parents wishing to accompany their children are also admitted for free.
