An evening of dining and dancing, auctions and raffles, friends and laughter – what more could anyone ask from a fundraiser gala?
The 2012 Taste of Palo Pinto County is now behind us. After so many months of planning and preparation, it’s a relief to take a few moments to sit back and savor the satisfaction of a job well done. But a successful event does not happen spontaneously. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to many, many people.
We would like to offer a big thank you to Holiday Hills Country Club for allowing us the use of its facility, and to its wonderful staff for their courteous and efficient service. Club manager Bill McGaha has been a staunch friend to the Senior Center over the years.
We are deeply grateful to editor David May and the Mineral Wells Index for helping us publicize the event. We appreciate their long-standing and generous support.
Many thanks to Eric Dyess of Source 1 Real Estate for volunteering his services as emcee and auctioneer for the evening. He adds an element of fun to everything he does.
