I understand why my children used to loiter in front of the calendar, willing the days before Christmas or birthdays to drop away just a little bit faster.
With our Taste of Palo Pinto County fundraiser coming up on Saturday, I’m feeling just as antsy and excited as a child waiting for a holiday. Though I cringe at reminders of how much work yet remains, the tingle of anticipation keeps me on the verge of giddiness.
I hope that all of you who can will come out and join us at the Holiday Hills Country Club on Saturday, July 21 for A Taste of Palo Pinto County. It’s shaping up to be a fun and lively event, and I really believe that everyone there will have a delightful time.
