Money Matters

By the time my husband lost half a lung to a tumor, a severe allergic reaction sent our second child to the hospital for five days, I gave birth to two babies, three kids had tubes surgically implanted in their ears, our 10-month old was hospitalized with meningitis, and a colonoscopy and rectal biopsy on our newborn revealed ulcerative colitis – all within a 3-year period – we were in debt to almost every health care provider in town.  All that to say, I understand what it feels like to struggle with financial problems.

The Senior Center is not nearly as bad off as my own family was back in the early 80’s.

    Activities begin with a 2-hour early-bird preview, tonight, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Shoppers paying a $10 admission fee will have an opportunity to be among the first to browse garage sale items.
