God is calling His people to pray for Mineral Wells. The movement is quiet but is growing and good things are beginning to happen.
The local prayer event held Aug. 6 in response to The Response revealed small prayer groups all over the city. PRAY Mineral Wells’ purpose is to unite all the prayer warriors through monthly events and other activities.
The next prayer event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24, 6-8 p.m., at Holiday Inn Express in Mineral Wells. People of all denominations are invited to attend the monthly prayer events as we join together in a united effort to pray for Mineral Wells. Attendees will be encouraged to focus on specific needs of the city and challenged to continue praying throughout the month.
A sign out on U.S. Highway 281 quotes former Texas Gov. Campbell saying, “Texas does not realize what she has in Mineral Wells … Every time I go there, I come away with a greater belief in its possibilities.”
We want to see Mineral Wells step back into her prophetic purpose as a place for people to come and rest their weary bodies and their weary souls.
