One recent night we had nothing much in the house so I decided to do a stir fry. I had a packet of stir fry powder, a can of water chestnuts, a can of bean sprouts, a small packet of frozen shrimp, and an onion. The stir fry turned out to be delicious, but three quarters of the way through the cooking of the rice, the rice cooker died!
I have always liked rice, to a certain extent, and so has Raf. I usually like to soak mine in extra virgin olive oil and salt. Raf goes for lots of soy sauce, always Kikkoman. We have never eaten a lot of rice during our married life, but we like it when we have it, usually.
