What makes the Salsa Barons’ Ball special?

Our Sponsors who underwrite the basic costs … Diamond Pharmacy has been a Salsa Baron Level Sponsor for several years. Other sponsors who are always there for the Salsa Makers are Baum-Carlock- Bumgardner, Virginia Upham, Barbara Upham, Sears’ Hometown Store, the Circuit Riders and Stephen Ranch Partnership.

Connie Smith, Jack Powell, Dr. William Warren, Randy’s Service Center, and Palo Pinto General Hospital are also repeat sponsors.

New Sponsors that we welcome and appreciate are BreathE-Z Health Care, Countryside Therapy Group, First Financial Bank, Mineral Wells Opticians, Titan Bank and Texas Family Medical Group.

Every sponsor is so appreciated because they help make the Ball a success.

Prize Donators ... I cannot express the gratitude we all feel to those businesses and individuals who donate the live-auction prizes as well as raffle and silent-auction prizes. These activities bring in thousands of dollars, necessary to keep Palo Pinto Challenge going from day to day and put much of the excitement in the ball.

Ticket Buyers and those who attend the Ball … You support us with your presence at the Ball. We love to see you there!

The people who participate in the Auction, Silent Auction and Raffle … You make the evening exciting and so much more profitable.

.Those people who provide services for the Ball...CoeBoy who entertain with music, Robert Snyder who acts as the emcee, Eric Dyess the auctioneer who keeps the bidding going to get the top price, Linda Choate and the Pythian Sisters, the Mineral Wells Index, The Lake Country Sun, the Palo Pinto Sheriff’s Posse for the use of the building, Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce where we have our meetings, Pulido’s which prepares the delicious fajita dinner and Brazos Printing who helped us with pre-ball publicity. A Special Thanks goes to Weaver’s Printing that created, printed and donated our Salsa Baron’ Ball programs.

The volunteers … no event of this size could be produced without volunteers and ours are wonderful! Tammy Belz, Sherry Friend, Margie Holmes, Barry Holmes, Amanda Franklin, Julia Elmore, Fransisco Yanez, Eric Hernandez, Linda Choate, Barbara Cranfill and Dawn Hernandez.

The Board of Palo Pinto Challenge … these hard-working people volunteer all year and work extra hard during the ball: Jane Berry, Bill Patterson, Marcelinda Williams, Mae White, Michael Franklin and Tom Beaty.

I thank you and everyone who helps our lifeskills teaching continue to prove that “Everyone Can Work With Pride” and for your love and support for our program.

Jennifer Elmore, President
