Kudos to Dr. Jones

Dear Editor,

Dr. John Jones is one of the nicest doctors I’ve ever met. Several years ago he literally saved my life.

I had been to several doctors with my stomach. It was swelling and huge. It was very hard. The doctors I was seeing said it was my weight, or even prescribed me meds for digestive problems.

It was getting uncomfortable so I went to the ER. Dr. Jones was the ER doctor. He sent me to [be scanned, and] found a 30-pound tumor taking over my entire stomach.

I had no insurance and needed surgery immediately. He called around and found a friend of his to perform the surgery at Harris three days later. They were not sure if the tumor was wrapped around arteries. So, it was risky.

I was home three days later and this surgery was done for free. I will never forget Dr. Jones or the doctor who removed this tumor. There [are] good things that happen in this corrupt world. Thank you Dr. Jones.

    Several attempts have been made to contact someone in city administration/inspections, trying to get results in a matter which, I believe, affects the well-being of our citizens and our young children. To date, the problems have not been addressed nor rectified.
