Leslie B. Hair

MINERAL WELLS — Leslie B. Hair, 64, of Mineral Wells and formerly of Post, Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at the LifeCare Hospital of Fort Worth.

Service is Friday, March 5, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Post with Rev. Randy Branson, First Presbyterian Church of Graham, Texas, officiating. Military rites will follow at the Terrace Cemetery under the personal care of Dee and Janet Justice, Justice-Mason Funeral Home, Post. Pallbearers are Benny Hair, Jerry Hair, Johnny Hair, Tracy Morris, Ronnie Hair and Chris Hobbs. Honorary pallbearers are Leslie Hair Jr., Royce Hardy, Skiler Martin and Jeremiah Gore.

He was born July 22, 1945, to Sadler and Arlia (Dossey) Hair. Leslie attended Post schools and went into the Army on Nov. 1, 1965, serving in Vietnam. He married Paula Jo Foster on July 23, 1966, at Calvary Baptist Church in Post. After returning from the service, they moved to Mineral Wells. Leslie worked as a contract pumper. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Paula Hair, of Mineral Wells; one son, Leslie and his wife, Kalynda, Hair Jr. of Mineral Wells; three daughters, Pam and husband, Royce, Hardy of Brock, Texas, Melissa and husband, Skiler, Martin of Mineral Wells, and Terrie and husband, Jeremiah, Gore, of Graham; six brothers, Jack and wife, Marcella, Hair, Gene Hair, Dell Hair, Floyd Hair, Roger and wife, Kathy, Hair, all of Post, and Wayne and wife, Rosie, Hair of Lamesa, Texas; three sisters, Lela Faye Yocham, of Andrews, Texas, Patricia Clark, of Kerrville, Texas, and Janice Pieper, of Gainesville, Texas; seven grandchildren, Bradley Hardy and Cody Hardy, of Brock, Desiree Bell, Skiler Martin Jr. and Timmy Martin, all of Mineral Wells, Jackson Gore and Jacey Gore, both of Graham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sadler and Arlia Hair; and two sisters, Dorothy Carter and Leoma Reyes.
