LONE CAMP —
Thomas Riley Cogburn, 65, died April 29, 2010, at his home in Lone Camp.
Service is 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at the Lone Camp Community Center with Justin Cardwell and Jerry Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Fallin Ranch Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the Fallin Home, 465 Knight Road, Palo Pinto, Texas 76484.
He was born July 16, 1944, in El Paso, Texas, the son of William (Bill) and May Belle Cogburn. Tommy was a 1962 graduate of Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas. He was a member of the Lone Camp Church of Christ, Lone Camp, Texas. Tommy worked as a machinist for Heidelberg Harris for 33-½ years. He was the co-owner of C&F Sawmill for five years. He married Deborah Fallin on May 28, 1988, in Kennedale, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Debbie) Fallin Cogburn, of Lone Camp; children, Brian Cogburn and wife, Nickie, of Arlington, Texas, Paula Smith and husband, Jimmy, of Cleburne, Texas, and Shane Slimp and wife, Amy, of Lone Camp; mother-in-law, Dee Fallin, of Lone Camp; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces; numerous family and friends; and Tommy’s two best friends, his pets Rusty and Little Bit.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father, William Riley Cogburn; his mother, May Belle Swofford Cogburn; and his sister, Georgie Jackson.
