MINERAL WELLS — Gilbert Rendon Jr., 63, died April 26, 2010, in Mineral Wells.

Graveside service was Wednesday, April 28, at the Rocksprings Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Rocksprings, Texas, to Gilberto and Maria Rendon. Gilbert married Mary Gonzales on Nov. 2, 1963.

Gilbert is survived by his son, Lauro Rendon, and daughter, Lisa Anna Rendon; his grandchildren, Laura and Maria Rendon, Marisela Rodriguez, Ceceli Rendon, Roxann Hernandez, Miguel Rendon and Fidencio Ortiz Jr.; his sisters, Hope DeLeon and Genoveva Hanna; his brothers, Frederico Rendon, Mario Rendon and Ramiro Rendon; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Mauro Rendon.
