Larry Clutts

MINERAL WELLS — Larry Lynn Clutts, 57, of Mineral Wells, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, in a Fort Worth hospital.

Service is 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, at Southside Church of Christ with William Eudy officiating. Ken Gray and Keith Holamon provide the eulogy. Burial will be in Sturdivant Cemetery with Ken Gray, Bennie Fossen, Ed Fowler, Fudgie Windham, Larry Eidson, Keith Holamon, Buddy Daniel and Strawberry Jordan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department and the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Posse, with graveside honors provided by members of the Mineral Wells Fire Department. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner.

Larry Clutts was born April 9, 1953, in Mineral Wells, the son of Theodore Lewis and Janie Imogene Roberts Clutts, and lived here all his life. He served on the Mineral Wells Fire Department and Palo Pinto County Emergency Medical Services for over 25 years. He was the county fire marshal for several years. He attended Southside Church of Christ.

Survivors include his mother, Imogene McCurley, of Mineral Wells; daughter, Shauna Bradshaw and husband, Wes, of Mineral Wells; brother, Butch Clutts and wife, Bette, of Weatherford, Texas; nephew, Buddy Clutts and wife, Lisa, of Mineral Wells; aunt, Billie Rotenberry of Garner; many cousins and close friends.
