Dorothy L. Wright, 90, passed away Dec. 11, 2012, at her home in Soda Springs. She married Marvin Wright on Aug. 7, 1942, in Weatherford. She was a member of Soda Springs Baptist Church and served as church treasurer for 42 years.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Davidson and Brian Goen officiating. Burial will follow in Soda Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Brian Goen, Matthew Wright, Jacob Hope, Jared Moore, Kevin Esse, Trenton Abbott, and Morris Gresham.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Eldonna and Bobby Goen; daughter-in-law: Kim Wright; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband on March 13, 1992, son: Royce Wright on Aug. 6, 2007, and three brothers.
