James Hodges passed away on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, in Mineral Wells, with his daughter by his side. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
James was born Oct. 27, 1953, to R.A. (Al) and Martha Hodges in Hot Springs, AR. He attended school in Mineral Wells and graduated with the Class of 1971.
James was a welder and pipefitter by trade. He could build and manufacture whatever you needed or asked him to make. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He is survived by his son, James R. Hodges and wife Jaime; daughter Athena Hodges Brown; sisters Becky Anderson of Virginia Beach, VA, and Renee Bennett of Arkansas; brothers Tommy Hodges of Little Rock, AR, and Tony Pair of Weatherford; grandchildren Madison Hodges, Kaylee Dufour, and Ryley Gauge Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.
