Ernest Scott Tobey Jr., 68, of Mineral Wells, passed away in Abilene after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Mineral Wells, the son of the late Ernest Scott Tobey Sr. and Fay (Nuttall) Tobey.
The funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 21, at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Scott was buried at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
He left behind many friends who were saddened with his passing, along with his son: David Scott Tobey and wife Jennifer; son: Marcus Waechter; and step-sons: Charles and Kevin Bolton; and sister: Julie Privitt and husband, Galen; four grand-children; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Sharon Tobey, and son, Bobby Tobey.
