Arle Nowak

Mineral Wells Index

Arle Nowak passed away on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. Her service will be a Rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home – Strawn. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Dodson Prairie Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn.

Arle was born April 7, 1918, in Mineral Wells to James M. and Zora Purser Sawyers. She attended school at Fortune Bend and married Stephen F. Nowak. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Strawn, and also a member of Sons of Herman Lodge.  

Arle is survived by two sons: Charles Nowak and wife Elizabeth, and Joseph Monroe Nowak and wife Juanita; daughter-in-law, Gloria Nowak; four grandchildren: Rickey Nowak, Rusty Nowak, Emiley Nowak and Stephen Nowak; three great-grandchildren: Trent Nowak, Krece Nowak and

Kassidy Nowak.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son, Stephen Louis Nowak.
