Patsy Ruth Hamilton, 70, a resident of Weatherford, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, from complications of pneumonia and a lung and heart disorder.
Patsy was born in Mineral Wells on Sept. 3, 1942, to Vernon and Bennie Nelson.
Pat worked in county government in Palo Pinto and Parker counties for many years and had recently retired as Chief Deputy of Parker County District Court.
She is survived by husband Kenneth "Poss" Hamilton of Weatherford; daughter Patti Newsom and her husband Clay Newsom of Mineral Wells; stepson Kevin Hamilton, stepdaughter Kena Hamilton, both of Weatherford; son-in-law Stephen Booth of Mineral Wells.
Grandchildren Tanner and Terra Newsom of Mineral Wells; Stephanie, Jaxson and Lexie Booth of Mineral Wells; and Hayden Hamilton of Weatherford.

Service is Friday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 10, from 6-8 p.m. at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel.
