Janice Ernetta Hogan, 70, died Oct. 22, 2012, in a Mineral Wells nursing home.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Oran Cemetery with Rev. Barry Holmes officiating.
She was born Nov. 24, 1941, in Oran, the daughter of Ernest and Birdie Suejette Taylor Cornelius. She married Gilbert Hogan on May 3, 1958, at Central United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells. She was an animal lover and supported various animal rights organizations, including the SPCA. She liked classic movies and was an avid reader. She was a collector.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Stacy Hogan; children, Richard Hogan, Amy Crowe and Manette Plumlee; daughter-in-law, Gennifer Hogan; sons-in-law, James Crowe and Jeff Plumlee; grandchildren, Robert and Steven Crowe, Jared Plumlee, Atticus Hogan, Stephanie and Paul Kruchesky and Chilo Forsythe; great-grandchildren, Dylan Crowe, Aiden Crowe and Tristyn Watts; sister; Suzanne Tanner; and sister-in-law, Donna Cornelius.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Marvin Dwayne Cornelius.
