Billy Ned Garrett, 72, passed away Dec. 29 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born April 10, 1940, in Millsap, the son of Arby and Lillian Stephens Garrett. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and was raised in the Church of Christ.
Services are 2 p.m. today (Monday Dec. 31) in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Danny Grisso officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery in Millsap.
He is survived by: his wife, Anna “Susie” Garrett; children, Anna Carol Garrett, Billy Gene Garrett, Loyd “Bubba” Garrett, and Taylor Garrett, all of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Janna Maness, J.W. Trammell, Jay and Nikki Grisso, Missy and Jonathan Littlepage, Amanda Peacock, and Dustin Lewis; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Orville and Dale Garrett,both of Mineral Wells; sisters, Jo Ann Garrett, of Granbury, Barbara Garrett, of Fort Worth, Verna Steele, Karen Martin, Claudie Walton and Leta Anglin, all of Cleburne; and special friends, James Burns, Finnie Thomas and Billy Phelps, all of Mineral Wells.
