Richard Arnold “Buddy” Tirrell, 52, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at his home, ending a battle with lung cancer.
He was born in Grants, N.M., July 1, 1960, to Richard and Gladys Tirrell. He is now resting with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Buddy loved the outdoors, he would rather go fishing than eat.
Survivors of Buddy are his best friend and wife of 10 years, Thresea Ann Walker Tirrell, of Mineral Wells; children, Richard Joel Wesley Tirrell and Ruthie Jean Tirrell, of Mineral Wells; stepchildren, Nokomis Orenda Leath, Joe Walker Jr. and Mary Jane Walker, of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Randi Walker, Heath Goodwin Jr. and Jude Walker, of Mineral Wells; great-grandchild, Eli Watts, of Mineral Wells; sisters, JoBeth Walker and Cathy Ann Tincher, of Mineral Wells; brother, Charles Aaron Tirrell, of Mineral Wells; and stepbrother, Richard Eugene Lowe, of Tyler, Texas.
Buddy had so many relatives and friends he loved, it would take a book to write them all down. To family and friends we are planning a get together to celebrate Buddy’s life real soon. Contact Aaron Tirrell for information.
