SPRINGTOWN – Richard Massey, 40, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012.

Graveside service is 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Deb. 9, in Springtown Cemetery.

Richard was born Dec. 11, 1971, to Richard Lee and Judy Watkins Massey Sr., in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He was a member of a motorcycle group called The Herd. Richard was also a member of The Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Massey, of Springtown; son, Matthew Raines and wife, Bethany, of West, Texas; grandson, Zander Raines and baby Raines due in March; father, Richard Massey Sr. and wife, Wilma, of Coleman, Texas; mother, Judy Massey Hutson and step-father, Jonathan, of Morgan Mill, Texas; grandparent, Zena Massey, of Palo Pinto; step-grandmother, Mary Hutson, of Brazos; step-brother, Stacey Keener; step-sister Angela Yokie; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Massey of Palo Pinto, grandparents, John and Rosa Watkins of Mineral Wells.
