Mary Louise West, 61, died Oct. 7, 2012, in a Weatherford, Texas, nursing home.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
She was born Jan. 5, 1951, in Mineral Wells, the daughter of Leroy Melvin and Alice McQueary West. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. She was a Baptist and a very special child of God. Mary delighted in all of God’s beautiful creations in nature. She was a friend to all she met. She will be missed here on Earth by those who loved her, but she will be met with rejoicing in her Heavenly home.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jody Carter, of Milford, Texas; nephew and wife, Brent and Whitney Carter, of West, Texas; niece and husband, Brandie and Goeffrey Jenkins, of Gatesville, Texas; great-niece, Callie Carter; and very special friends, Anita Ables, Louise Blackerby, Gail Smith, Jeremy Hamscher, Dustin Hamscher and wife, Stacie, Misti Elliott, and Robert and Linda Waddy; all of the staff and residents of Sandstone Foothills Apartments; and the staff of Weatherford Healthcare Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
