Krishonda LeAnn Townsend, 19, of Perrin, Texas, died July 5, 2010.
Service is 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at The Church in Peaster. She will be laid to rest at Gibtown Cemetery. A celebration will follow the funeral service and burial starting around noon and everyone is welcome to join the family at The Church in Peaster for this celebration.
She was the daughter of Dale Townsend and Carolyn and Butch Rittenbury.
Krishonda was a loving mother who loved spending time with her son, Haiden James Townsend. She was also a loving sister and daughter who loved being involved with her family. She brought joy to everyone she met; and always had a smile on her face. Krishonda was very involved in the youth programs at three churches. She attended Weatherford College part time and also loved babysitting. She loved watching children on her free time.
Survivors are parents, Dale Townsend Sr., Carolyn and husband Butch Rittenbury; son, Haiden Townsend; brothers, Finis, Timothy and Dalton Townsend; sister, Shelby Townsend; and other grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
