GORDON —
Mary Ringo, 98, of Gordon, died Wednesday, July 28, in Stephenville.
Service is 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, at First Baptist Church in Gordon with Rev. Michael Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the New Gordon Cemetery.
Mrs. Ringo was born Dec. 22, 1911, in Gordon, to John and Myra (Witt) Merriman. She married Everett Ringo on Jan. 9, 1929. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church and had worked in the Gordon school cafeteria for many years, retiring in 1976.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lucille Barron, of Gordon; two grandsons, Clifford Barron, of Gordon, and Jimmy Barron, of Tolar, Texas; three great-grandsons, Mike Barron, Montie Barron and Brad Barron; four great-great-grandchildren, Brady, Brock, Baileigh and Brylee; and a sister, Oma Sperling, of Gordon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; a son, John; and a great-granddaughter, Tiffany.
Memorials donations in Mary’s name may be made to the Tri-City Ambulance Service.
