Ms. Barbara Price, 66, died in her sleep on Jan. 10, 2013, at her residence in Georgia. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, friend and patriot. Barbara served her country for 25 years in the US Army.
She was parish administrator, a beloved friend, and a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at Possum Kingdom Lake for about 25 years. We will have a Rosary for her, organized by Catholic Daughters of America at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mineral wells on Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. Barbaraʼs memorial service will be Feb. 16, Saturday, at 4:30 p.m. Mass at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, Hwy. 16 and Hwy. 254.
There will also be a pot luck dinner in the parish hall next to the church after the memorial service. We are grateful to God that He shared His love for us through her faith, courage, care and example.
