Donald Eugene Huston, 85, of Mineral Wells, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Lima, OH, to the late Darwin and Hazel (Jolif) Huston.
Donald retired as the President of United Heat Treating where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Methodist church and a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Donald always lent a listening ear and was a man of many answers.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years Bettye Huston of Mineral Wells; daughter Janet Sue Avery of Willow Park; son Donald E. Huston II of Seattle, WA; sisters Nancy Dennis of Springfield, MO, and Judy Wellbanks of Las Vegas, NV; brother Richard Huston of Montana; grandsons Scotty Huston, Danny Huston, Derek Slobodgen and Timothy Avery; six great grandchildren; five nephews and three nieces.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kerry Patton officiating.
Visitation was 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard in charge of arrangements.
