Joshua Holt Snell, 18, of Mineral Wells, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Mineral Wells. Joshua was born Feb. 15, 1994, in Weatherford.

He was a 2012 graduate from Mineral Wells High school. He was a certified lifeguard for the City of Mineral Wells YMCA and a member of Mix Marshal Art Club of Fort Worth. He loved weightlifting, soccer, football and swimming and was a member of Our Lady Lourdes Catholic Church.

He is survived by his father, Patrick Snell, and wife, Michelle, of Mineral Wells; mother, Peggy Price and husband Doug, of Foley, AL; paternal grandparents, Patrick W. and Tarania Snell of Grand Prairie, Ray and Dominga Madrigal of Mineral Wells; maternal grandparents, Vali and Melvin Herrington Saucer of Mobile, AL; brothers, William Snell of Mineral Wells, Matthew Silva of Mineral Wells, half sister, Charlie and half brothers, Nathan and Trey, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Our Lady Lourdes Catholic Church. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Interment is at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
