Concert to honor firefighters Sept. 29

MILLSAP – With the wonderful weather people are getting outdoors more and looking forward to some outside events. Among those coming up in the near future is a concert to honor the men and women of the Millsap Volunteer Fire Department.

The featured band for the musical will be Kolton Moore and the Clever Few. This will all take place around the Millsap Log Cabins on Sept. 29, with starting time 7 p.m. The function is in recognition and appreciation of the brave firefighters who give their time and hard work as members of the organization. Bring your lawn chairs and have a great time showing support of those who serve our community.

The firefighters are always training in a multitude of ways to keep us safe and on that note two members of the department, Mike Sagar and Mark Anderson, recently completed the American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course. They will be hosting free classes for those who want to learn CPR or need a refresher course.
