Millsap Public Library a cool place to hang out this summer

By SHARRON HUDSON | millsapnews@mineralwellsindex.com

MILLSAP – As some afternoons the temperatures are beginning to be hot some of us will be looking for the cool of indoors. One such place is the Millsap Public Library.

Librarian Billie Hook has a wide venue of activities for area kids planned, as well as many helpful and entertaining literary items available to adults. The library will be open every Wednesday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. from June through the first two weeks in August, except for July 4. The kids’ Summer

Reading Program will have a reward for every 120 minutes of reading the child logs, plus there will be a drawing at the first of September for some really great prizes. As a part of the Parker County Library Association (consisting of Azle, East Parker County, Millsap, Springtown and Weatherford) our library can have materials that cardholders check out online from any of the libraries sent here, or materials may be dropped off at the Millsap Library for return to any of the association libraries.
