MILLSAP – While many families enjoyed spring break this past week, the candidate speaking organized by the Millsap Community Center Association produced some very valuable insight for making voting decisions in upcoming elections.
The ham and bean supper prepared by members of the Community Center group, in conjunction with the candidate speaking, was a wonderful success. This dinner has become a traditional prelude to the candidate speaking, and while the bean recipe has changed along the way it remains a delicious way to bring people together for a grassroots form of politics. The Community Center officers thank everyone who supported the supper, and plan to use the proceeds for having gravel put south of the building for better parking conditions.
