Projects springing up as spring nears

MILLSAP – As we approach spring, which officially begins March 20, several area organizations have worthwhile projects in the works.

The Millsap chapter of the Masons will have a very special meeting on Feb. 28. While this is a regular meeting date, the members will have an official visit from the deputy grand master from the Grand Lodge of Texas. There will be a special format to receive him which the men are looking forward to participating in. A meal will be provided beginning at 6:30 p.m., and the reception of the Deputy Grand Master will begin at 7:30. The chapter in Millsap does much charity and community work, with the presentation of two scholarships to Millsap seniors being one of their yearly efforts. Men who are interested in the organization may call 682-4362.
