Concert benefiting MVFD Saturday

MILLSAP – With autumn officially here people are invigorated by the cooler temperatures and are looking forward to a number of upcoming events.

In our town one such function that many are planning on attending next Saturday (Sept. 29) evening is the benefit concert for the Millsap VFD. As was announced last week the band performing is Kolton Moore and the Clever Few. With posters and signs up all over the area, everyone is invited to bring their lawn chairs to the Millsap Log Cabin grounds for a great night of coming together as a community to honor our local firefighters. The festivities begin at 7 p.m., with the goal to make it a memorable night for a deserving group of people. We invite everyone from everywhere to come join us as we share in this musical spectacular with the firefighters.

With so many people interested in exercise for their health the Millsap Afterschool Program has announced that a new avenue has opened on this front for Millsap ISD parents. It is for those who like running or walking but enjoy company while doing these activities.
